Our Wedding

We met at Hillsdale College when we both signed up for the Hillsdale Italy trip and accompanying History of Italy class.

How We Met

We had our first date at Rough Draft, a popular cafe in Hillsdale.

3 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath. We do not advertise. Word of mouth only. We call the home Independence Inn&nbsp;and&nbsp;have decorated it assuch.&nbsp;This is a home rental, but we consider it our home we share with trusted people we know. It ismore like Airbnb PLUS! The kitchen is stocked with every spice, condiment, olive oil, baking supply,utensil, pan, and large and small appliance you can think of. Cuisinart, Kitchen Aid mixer, Keurig withpods, Coffee pot with grounds, coffee whipper, etc. Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, etc. Whenpeople stay at Independence Inn, we like them to think of it as a shared family home - but it still has thebenefits of a hotel with new, clean bedding, towels, etc Independence Inn has been updated in almostevery way, plus brand new appliances, including a full-size washer and dryer.We charge $300 a night for the whole home plus a one-time $100 cleaning fee for 3 people or less -or $150 for 4-6 people for each stay. The cleaning fee goes directly to our cleaner/manager. We do notrent individual rooms - only the whole home. THERE IS A 2-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT.No more than 6 people may stay.&nbsp;No pets of ANY KIND.There is wifi and a desk area. There is no cable, but thousands of movies are built into the TV. In thesummer, Badminton and corn hole in the backyard.Payment is due 30 days prior. Cancellations - no refund within 2 weeks of the beginning of the stay.
